Zusammenfassung:Fitting for installing between a sash/leaf and a fixed frame of a window, a door or the like. A fitting (60) for installing between a sash/leaf (2) and a fixed frame (3) of a window (4), a door or the like can be switched into a tilting opening state and defines in the tilting opening state a tilting axis (16) about which the sash/leaf (2) can be pivoted into a tilting opening position. A tilting opening limiting device (20) with a securing arm and with a coupling element supported on the securing arm along the tilting axis (16) is provided between a sash/leaf rail, which extends in the transverse direction of the tilting axis (16), and a rail of the fixed frame (3) that is opposite thereto. Moreover, the fitting (60) has a switchable anti-displacement safeguard (31) and/or a switchable retaining device (61) which, in the installed state, are/is provided between a sash/leaf rail on the tilting axis side, which extends parallel to the tilting axis (16), and a rail of the fixed frame (3) on the tilting axis side that is opposite thereto. With the fitting (60) in the tilting opening state, the anti-displacement safeguard (31) is switched into a securing state in which the movability of a sash/leaf-side securing element (10) relative to a fixed frame-side securing element (12) and thus the movability of the sash/leaf (2) relative to the fixed frame (3) along the tilting axis (16) is at least limited. With the fitting (60) in the tilting opening state and with the sash/leaf (2) attached on the tilting axis side to the fixed frame (3), the retaining device (61) is switched into a retaining standby state. If, with the fitting (60) in the tilting opening state and the retaining device (61) in the retaining standby state, the sash/leaf (2) is moved on the tilting axis side perpendicularly to a main plane of the window (4), the door or the like away from the fixed frame (3), this movement is limited by a retaining element (62) and a retaining arm (63) of the retaining device (61) that interacts therewith. A window, a door or the like is provided with a fitting (60) of the above type.
