In order to provide a flexographic printing press which makes an adjustment of the throwing-on parameters possible which is automated and is optimum under economic aspects, the solution according to the invention comprises a rotary printing press having a first cylinder which can be set against a second cylinder during printing operation, wherein the first cylinder has a sensitive navigation field on the circumferential surface thereof, wherein the second cylinder has a pointer on the circumferential surface thereof, which pointer is suitable for pointing at a point within the sensitive navigation field of the first cylinder, as soon as the first cylinder and the second cylinder are positioned in a defined navigation region with respect to one another, and wherein the sensitive navigation field of the first cylinder is suitable for detecting the position of said point. |
