Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a housing for a transmission, namely an integral transmission. An arrangement of multiple gears which are operatively connected to one another is provided in the transmission housing, and the gears are coupled to rotatable shafts which are mounted in corresponding bearing points. According to the invention, the bearing points (7) can be loaded with bearing elements (3), and the bearing element (3) is a separate component which is independent of the transmission housing (1). The bearing element (3) has connection elements (10) for securing to the transmission housing (1) and at least one bearing (16) for receiving a shaft (17) of a gear.
