Zusammenfassung:A rotatable laundry drum 2 has a drum casing 4 and a rear drum wall 14, wherein the rear drum wall 14 has at least one perforated air-passage region 15, 15a, wherein at least one non-perforated embossed formation 17, which is oriented in the direction of a drum interior, is made in the perforated air-passage region 15, wherein the at least one embossed formation 17 has at least one radially outwardly extending rib 18, and wherein the rib 18 is curved in the direction of rotation of the laundry drum 2. A laundry-drying appliance 1 has such a laundry drum 2. The invention can be applied in particular advantageously to tumble dryers or washer-dryers, in particular ones which use circulating air.
