Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a high pressure cleaning system (10) having a high pressure cleaning device (12) and an external battery-operated control unit (44). The high pressure cleaning device has a motor pump unit (16) having a motor (18) and a pump (20), and an electronic controller (40) for controlling at least one conveying parameter of the motor pump unit (16) and a sensor (42) for detecting the actual value of the conveying parameter. The control unit has an input device (48) for input of a desired value of the conveying parameter and a display device (50) for displaying a display value corresponding to the respective actual value. A predetermined desired value signal can be transmitted wirelessly from the control unit (44) to the electronic controller (40) and an actual value transfer signal can be transmitted wirelessly from the electronic controller (40) to the control unit (44). The problem addressed by the invention is that of modifying the high pressure cleaning system in such a way that the user is provided with great ease of operation at low energy consumption. This problem is solved, according to the invention, in that after the transmission of the desired value-predetermined value from the control unit (44) an actual value interrogation signal can be repeatedly transmitted automatically to the electronic controller (40), and that after reception of the actual value interrogation signal automatically the actual value transfer signal can be transmitted from the electronic controller (40) to the control unit (44).
