Zusammenfassung:	Accordingly, there are provided coated microcapsules including: a microcapsule including a polymeric shell and a liquid core material encapsulated therein; and a metallic coating surrounding said microcapsule, wherein the metallic coating includes particles of a first metal adsorbed on said polymeric shell and a film of a second metal formed thereon; wherein the particles of the first metal are adsorbed on said polymeric shell by contacting the polymeric shell with a reducing agent and a solution comprising ions of the first metal, thereby reducing said ions and forming particles of the first metal adsorbed on said polymeric shell; method and formulations related thereto are also provided.
