Zusammenfassung:An adaptor (300) apparatus comprises a seal assembly housing (335), a channel (325), and tapered surfaces. The adaptor (300) apparatus is configured to connect a trocar seal assembly (400) with a robotic trocar cannula (200) and maintain pneumostasis in an insufflated body cavity of a patient. The seal assembly housing (335) comprises an open area sufficient to receive, support, and fix the trocar seal assembly (400) within the adaptor (300) apparatus. The channel (325) provides a pathway for inserting instruments from the trocar seal assembly (400) and into the cannula (200). The robotic trocar cannula (200) includes an annular flange (240) and a tapered proximal opening. The tapered surfaces of the adaptor (300) apparatus are configured to engage the annular flange (240) and the tapered proximal opening of the cannula (200). The tapered surfaces of the adaptor (300) apparatus are configured to complement the exterior of the annular flange (240) and the angled opening of the cannula (200).
