The drive unit (1A) has a hydraulic clutch mechanism (88) configured to perform switching between transmission and non-transmission of rotary power from an output shaft (66) to a pinion (100). The clutch hydraulic source (94) supplies a hydraulic pressure to the clutch mechanism (88). The clutch control portion (90) controls a hydraulic pressure supplied from the clutch hydraulic source (94) to the clutch mechanism (88).
