The gas turbine inlet air system (100) may include an inlet air water cooling system (110) positioned upstream of the compressor (15) for cooling the flow of air (20) with a flow of water (155) and a moisture detection system (170) positioned downstream of the inlet air water cooling system (110) to detect if droplets of the flow of water (155) pass beyond the inlet air water cooling system (110) in the flow of air (20) towards the compressor (15).
