Zusammenfassung:	An aircraft fuel-cell system, comprises a fuel-cell (10), related ancillary equipment (26) for fuel-cell functioning, a battery (28), a battery charger (29), a preload resistor (34), and a series of contactors configured to control the flow of electricity generated by the fuel cell. The series of contactors may comprise a resistor contactor (32), a fuel-cell contactor (36), a battery contactor (40), and a bus contactor (38). On receiving a request for power from one or more of the aircraft loads the system delivers an initial power supply to the loads from the battery (28) and delivers further power supply to the loads from the fuel-cell (10).
