METHOD FOR MONITORING THE MACHINE GEOMETRY OF A TOOTH MACHINING MACHINE AND DEVICE WITH A TOOTH MACHINING MACHINE, A MEASURING DEVICE AND A SOFTWARE MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical approach for surely and timely determining changes in a machine or a machining environment.SOLUTION: A method for measuring the machine geometry of a gear cutting machine 10, comprises: a) a step of measuring a workpiece in a measuring device 20 for determining actual data, the workpiece being previously machined in the machine on the basis of specification data (VD, ΔVD, MD, ΔMD); b) a step of, by correlating the actual data with the specification data, determining a deviation of a geometrical setting of at least one axis of the machine; c) a step of storing the deviation of the geometrical setting; d) a step of repeating steps a)-c) after machining further workpieces in the machine; and e) a step of performing a statistical evaluation of several stored deviations and determining a geometrical change of the axis of the machine in consideration of a predefined condition and/or rule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
