Zusammenfassung:	Retroreflective articles combining both visible images and infrared detectable, machine-readable indicia are described. The visible image and the infrared detectable, machine-readable indicia may overlap. The visible images are formed with materials that are highly transparent to infrared light and reflect at least a portion of the visible spectrum. An IR-blocking material is applied, covering at least a portion of the visible image. The IR-bloching material reflects IR-light yet remains highly transparent to visible light.
