Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a control device, in particular, to an engine control device for a motor vehicle. The control device according to the invention comprises at least one housing. The housing is formed by at least one housing bottom and a housing cover connected to the housing bottom. A cavity is defined between the housing bottom and the housing cover, in which cavity, for example, an electronic module of the control device is arranged. The control device additionally has a connection geometry for mechanical accommodation of the control device in a holder accommodating the control device. The connection geometry is formed on at least one holding element. The holding element is thus an independent component with respect to the housing bottom and the housing cover and is mechanically and/or materially connected to the housing.
