Zusammenfassung:	An electric earth system (10), in particular for a motor vehicle body (15), comprising an earth stud (12), which can be connected to an electrically conductive earth base (14) and has a shaft (24) extending along a longitudinal axis (26) and a flange (18), wherein the earth stud (12) defines a contact surface (28) concentric with the shaft (24), and comprising a covering means (34), which can be connected to the shaft (24) and has a covering surface (42), which at least partially covers the electric contact surface (28) in the connected state. Here, a seal arrangement (46) is arranged between the contact surface (28) and the covering surface (42), such that a sealed-off region (52) is formed between the seal arrangement (46) and the shaft (12), within which region there is located at least part of the contact surface (42).
