Zusammenfassung: | A modulated turbine cooling (MTC) control system (180) is provided. The MTC control system (180) includes a processor (202) in communication with a memory (204). The processor (202) is programmed to determine a cooling flow requirement of an engine component (128, 130) for each of a plurality of operating conditions. The processor (202) is further programmed to channel the determined required flow to the engine component (128, 130) during each respective operating condition of the plurality of operating conditions. The processor (202) is also programmed to assess a health of the engine component (128, 130), and modify the determined cooling flow requirement based on the assessed health of the engine component (128, 130). The processor (202) is further programmed to supply the modified cooling flow requirement to the engine component (128, 130) during each subsequent respective operating condition of the plurality of operating conditions. |
