Zusammenfassung:	A preconnectorized optical cable assembly (1000) comprises an optical cable (100) comprising an optical transmission element (110) comprising at least one optical waveguide (111), and a plurality of tensile elements (120) being embedded in a cable jacket (130). The cable assembly (1000) comprises at least one plug connector (200) being attached to an end section (101) of the cable (100). According to a first embodiment of the cable assembly (1000), the plurality of tensile elements (120) is secured between a crimp housing (220) and a crimp band (230) of the plug connector (200). According to a second embodiment of the cable assembly (1000), the cable assembly (1000) may comprise at least one tensile element securing component (250) in which the plurality of tensile elements (120) is attached. The crimp housing (220) comprises at least one groove (226) for receiving the at least one tensile element securing component (250).
