Zusammenfassung:	In a shock absorber 100, 200, an outer case 2 made of resin is disposed so as to cover an inner case 1 made of metal, and the outer case 2 forms a reservoir chamber 130 for storing the hydraulic fluid between the outer case 2 and the inner case 1. The outer case 2 is supported by the inner case 1 via protrusions 20, which are formed on either one of the outer peripheral surface of the inner case 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer case 2 so as to protrude toward and abut the other one of the outer peripheral surface of the inner case 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer case 2.
