Zusammenfassung:	A tire holding device 50 of a tire mounting machine grasps the bead section of a green tire T by means of chucking paddles 60 and places the green tire T around an upright cylindrical vulcanization bladder 5. A bladder device 30 of the tire mounting machine expands the vulcanization bladder 5 to press same against the inner surface of the green tire T, and sets the green tire T in a vulcanization-mold. On a lower portion of each chucking paddle 60, guide extensions 65a, 65b are formed to extend in the two circumferential directions. Between adjacent chucking paddles 60, the guide extensions 65a, 65b extend toward each other and constantly overlap each other to prevent the expanding vulcanization bladder from contacting the radially inner surface of the bead section and from stripping the non-vulcanized rubber of the green tire T.
