Zusammenfassung:	A waste collection and disposal system comprises a fixed docking station and a mobile waste collection unit dockable with the fixed docking station. The mobile waste collection unit includes a cart supporting at least one waste container for storing waste material, and a power coupler for transferring electric power from the fixed docking station to the mobile waste collection unit. The power coupler comprises a first winding supported by the fixed docking station and electrically connectable to a fixed power source, and a second winding supported by the mobile waste collection unit. The second winding is inductively coupleable to the first winding when the mobile waste collection unit is docked with the fixed docking station.
