METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING EMBMS SERVICE CONTINUITY

The disclosure discloses a method for maintaining Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (eMBMS) service continuity. The method includes the following steps: a terminal transmits an eMBMS service frequency set identifier to a source base station, the eMBMS service frequency set identifier being configured to differentiate frequency sets of different types of eMBMS services; and the terminal performs an event measurement on a frequency set corresponding to the eMBMS service frequency set identifier transmitted by the source base station, and reports a measurement report to the source base station if the event measurement result meets a pre-set condition, the measurement report being configured to complete the determination that the source base station is ensured to perform handover in a cell with the same frequency set corresponding to the current eMBMS service of the terminal. The disclosure also discloses a system, device and computer readable medium for maintaining eMBMS service continuity.
