PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sheet metal component and its manufacturing method, capable of improving heat exchange efficiency and coping with various modes, with respect to the sheet metal component for a heat exchanger including a rib structure having a louver.SOLUTION: A sheet metal component 2 includes a cut end structure 5 configuring a louver 3, and the cut end structure 5 is provided with at least two cut end portions 10 respectively having two cut ends 6. The cut end portions 10 are cut and separated from each other in a width direction 8 of the sheet metal component 2 by a flat region 11 free from the cut end, and the cut end structure 5 is extended in a width direction 8 in a manner of crossing a cut end structure width 13.
