Zusammenfassung:A fall protection harness (100) has a magnetic sensor (130, 140) coupled to it, and a computer processor (150) is coupled to the magnetic sensor (130, 140). Upon damage to the fall protection harness (100), the magnetic sensor (130, 140) senses the damage (step 310), the magnetic sensor (130, 140) generates a first signal to the computer processor (150) (step 320), and the computer processor (150) generates a second signal indicating the damage (step 330).
