For reducing excessive wear of both an ignition electrode (80) and an associated mass element (100), the ignition electrode (80) may include at least one electrode arm (82) extending in both at least a radial direction with respect to a longitudinal axis (90) of a pre-chamber (66) and at least an axial direction with respect to the longitudinal axis (90), wherein the mass element (100) includes at least mass protrusion (102) provided with at least one radial inner face (104) facing the ignition electrode (82) and being substantially non-parallel with respect to the longitudinal axis (90).
