Zusammenfassung:	A light source (41) which has a housing (414) accommodating a light source lamp (411) and having an exhaust port (4151), a duct (7), and a fan (64) are provided. The duct (7) has an inlet (711) facing the exhaust port (4151), a branching part (716) which branches air from the inlet (711), a duct part (717) extending in a first direction (A1) orthogonal to an opening plane of the exhaust port (4151), and a duct part (718) extending in a second direction (A2) intersecting with the first direction (A1). The fan (64) is arranged in a position for sucking the air circulating through the duct part (718). The duct part (717) has a plurality of sidewall parts (7171 to 7174), an opening (7176), and a mesh (7177).
