Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a heavy duty vehicle with a lifting apparatus for lifting and lowering a container, in particular an ISO container (2), which lifting apparatus comprises a load pickup means with a spreader frame (9) for picking up the container, and a lifting drive, via which the load pickup means can be lifted and lowered, wherein the heavy duty vehicle is movable freely via wheels (3) with rubber tyres and in particular is not rail-bound. In order to provide an improved heavy duty vehicle with a lifting apparatus for lifting and lowering a container, it is proposed that the lifting drive is in the form of a belt drive (10).
