Zusammenfassung:	Various aspects of the disclosure relate to a portable electronic wireless communication device configured to: receive, from a user, a first configuration specifying one or more remote information resources; receive, from the user, a second configuration specifying the user's preference on information content to be received from the one or more remote information sources for displaying on the idle screen, the information to be received via a wireless communication network; store the first configuration and the second configuration in the device; receive the information content from the one or more remote information resources through the wireless communication network; and display, on at least a portion of the idle screen, the received information content based on the saved first configuration and the saved second configuration; wherein the idle screen is a screen displayed by the device when the user of the device is not navigating to a particular function, nor actively using a particular application.
