The nanophase has a plurality of nanotubes (106) including a material with thermal conductivity that is greater than the thermal conductivity of the bulk matrix phase (102) of the nanocomposite. An electrical device (10) includes a conductor (16) in thermal communication with the nanocomposite structure (14) formed from the nanocomposite (100).
