Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a polymeric substrate being coated with a reflective coating, particularly a chromium-based reflective coating. The polymeric substrate may be used in vehicle components, such as rear view devices. The coating is able to provide good abrasion resistance with a neutral colour and is at least in part permeable to light originating from at least one light element. The invention also relates to a rear view device of a vehicle comprising a polymeric substrate.
