Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a conveyor system, comprising a conveyor belt, which has a carrying-side cover plate (3) and a running-side cover plate (4), and comprising drums, supporting rollers, and supporting frames, wherein the conveyor system forms a material-conveying upper run having a feed point for the conveying material and a mostly material-free lower run. For a further sufficient flame-inhibiting effect that does not negatively affect the further physical properties of the conveyor belt and that does not pose a health hazard to persons, animals, or the environment, the carrying-side (carrying side) cover plate (3) and/or the running-side (running side) cover plate (4) contains at least one flameproofing agent, wherein the flameproofing agent is free of bromium and bromium compounds.
