APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECORDING MULTIPLE VIEWS IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A communication system (100) provides automatic recording of multiple views of an incident scene. The communication system comprises a radio (502) having a camera (506). The radio (502) is responsive to a received incident event trigger to activate the camera (506) and automatically, without manual user input to the radio, record first video of an incident scene in response to the incident event trigger. The radio (502) provides the recorded first video of the incident scene to one or both of a central control station and at least one more radio (104) communicably coupled with the radio (502). The at least one more radio (104) is coupled with the radio (502) in response to receiving an alert subsequent to the radio (502) activating its camera (506), and records second video of the incident scene, providing it to the central control station and/or the radio (502).
