The probe end device includes a probe end body having a receiving opening for an end portion of the measuring cable, the receiving opening having a wall, which is set up to provide a progression of an end portion, which is inserted into the receiving opening, of the measuring cable, and the wall further being set up to space apart the end portion, which is inserted into the receiving opening, of the measuring cable from at least one boundary of the probe end body.
