Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are a user terminal, a method for controlling the same, and a multimedia system. The method for controlling the user terminal includes: displaying a first image content; transmitting a signal requesting an image content to an external display device in the case in which a preset user interaction is sensed; and displaying the first image content and a second image content together in the case in which the second image content that is currently being displayed by the display device is received from the display device.
