Zusammenfassung:	A turbocharger for a motor vehicle, including a compressor, which has a compressor wheel situated on a rotatably supported shaft, an electric machine being situated in a pipe section of an axial compressor inlet, the electric machine including a rotor situated on the shaft and a stator situated on the pipe section. The stator has multiple webs projecting inward which are distributed over the circumference and extend at least essentially in an axial direction, the webs being used for forming flow channels which extend in an axial direction and are situated at a distance from one another.
