Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for the automated detection of trees, comprising a mobile platform, a camera unit (2) for capturing two physically overlapping images (B1, B2), wherein the camera unit (2) is mounted on the platform, a position sensor system (3) for determining the six degrees of freedom (X, Y, Z, a, ß, γ) of the camera unit (2) and at least one evaluation unit (4), wherein the evaluation unit (4) is in a form such that a 2D disparity image is produced from the two physically overlapping images (B1, B2), wherein the evaluation unit (4) is additionally in a form such that trees are segmented in the 2D disparity image or an image from the camera unit (2) that is rectified with the 2D disparity image, wherein the segmented trees are stored with the data from the position sensor system (3) as a data record in a world coordinate system, and to an associated method.
