Zusammenfassung:A sensor arrangement (10) comprises a sensor (13), a driver circuit (11) and a measurement circuit (12). The sensor (13) comprises two capacitive elements (14, 15), two input terminals (16, 17) and an output terminal (18). The two capacitive elements (14, 15) are coupled between the two input terminals (16) and the output terminal (18). The driver circuit (11) is coupled to the two input terminals (16, 17) of the sensor (13). The measurement circuit (12) is coupled to the output terminal (18) of the sensor (13). In a measurement mode, the driver circuit (11) provides two periodic signals (S1, S2) to the two input terminals (16, 17). In a diagnostic mode, the driver circuit (11) provides a third periodic signal (S3) to the first input terminal (16) and does not provide a periodic signal to the second input terminal (17).
