Zusammenfassung:	This relates to a composite detergent granule having a core particle covered by a coating layer, as well as a granular detergent composition containing the same. The core particle contains a mixture of silica, a C10-C20 linear alkyl benzene sulphonate (LAS) and optionally a C10-C20 linear or branched alkylethoxy sulfate (AES). The coating layer contains AES. Such a composite detergent granule is characterized by high surfactant activity, improved water hardness tolerance, fast surfactant release, and superior dissolution profile.
