Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a ring element (1) for a lashing or attachment device (40), with a base (10) and with a ring section (2) that is closed in an opposite position to the base (10) and that forms a ring opening (4). In order to be able to attach in particular loop-shaped ropes or strips, but also attachment devices such as shackles, hanging elements, loop hooks, in a simpler way, the base (10) is divided according to the invention by an attachment channel that reaches into the ring opening (4). A closing element (42) that is formed in a way as to be insertable in the attachment channel (8) preferably fits flush with the base (10).
