Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for sending measurement data (12, 16) by means of a multiplexing-capable interface (30) of a sensor (10, 14) in a vehicle (2), which sensor is designed to produce the measurement data (12, 16) on the basis of a physical quantity, in data frames (48), wherein first it is distinguished whether the measurement data (12, 16) should be sent in synchronization with an event (60) or asynchronously and, if the measurement data should be sent in synchronization with the event (60), the data frames (48) are filled with the measurement data (12, 16) and sent in accordance with a predetermined pattern (52, 54, 56), otherwise arbitrarily.
