Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for mounting a wiper system and to a wiper system comprising a first wiper bearing having a first drive shaft for a first wiper arm and a second wiper bearing having a second drive shaft for a second wiper arm, the first and the second drive shafts being non-rotatably connected via a coupling rod. A first retaining means for holding the coupling rod in place on the first wiper bearing is provided in a first defined position and a second retaining means for holding the coupling rod in place on the second wiper bearing is provided in a second defined position.
