Zusammenfassung:	A patient bed comprising: a patient support; a barrier extending around said patient support, and said barrier including a footboard; a control system including a display; a sensor detecting the status of a device at said bed; said sensor in communication with said control system, and said control system displaying the status detected by said sensor at said display, said display comprising a touch screen, and said touch screen including a user actuatable icon or display for actuating a function for the device at said bed; and said sensor being adapted to detect when another device is coupled to said bed, said control system generating an icon or display associated with said other device at said display.
