Zusammenfassung:	An assembly (10) is disclosed having a fitting body (20), a structure (12), an annular cavity (34) within the fitting body (20), a grip ring (24), a seal element (22), and a spacing element (70). The structure (12) has an end that is received in the fitting body (20). The annular cavity (34) is disposed within the fitting body (20) between an interior surface of the fitting body (20) and an exterior surface of the structure (12). The grip ring (24), seal element (22), and spacing element (70) are disposed in the annular cavity (34) in a side-by-side relationship. The grip ring (24) includes a plurality of first teeth (64') that engage the exterior surface of the structure (12). Both the seal element (22) and the spacing element (70) extend radially across a height of the annular cavity (34) such that the seal element (22) and the spacing element (70) each contact and sealingly engage the exterior surface of the structure (12) and the interior surface of the fitting body (20).
