Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for concentrating cells in a suspension is described. The apparatus comprises: a sedimentation assembly (10, 48, 84) comprising a first chamber (12, 72, 86) for receiving a suspension including a cell population, and a second chamber (26, 76, 88) in fluid communication with said first chamber; and a centrifuge holder (44) for receipt within a centrifuge. The centrifuge holder has an interior chamber that is configured to cooperatively receive the sedimentation assembly to stabilize the assembly during centrifugation.
