Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a recuperating device for moving at least one part section of an airbag which has deployed along an outer side of a vehicle out of the field of view of a vehicle occupant situated on a front vehicle seat of the vehicle, having at least one recuperating element (51, 51a, 51b) which can be wound up, a rotatable receptacle (7) for winding up the recuperating element (51, 51a, 51b) and a guide device (9) for guiding the recuperating element (51, 51a, 51b) while it is wound onto the receptacle (7). According to the invention, the guide device (9) is arranged and configured in such a way that it can be moved relative to the receptacle (7) along a rotational axis of the receptacle (7).
