Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for carrying out an electronic transaction using a mobile device (102), the method comprising: receiving, through a first service facilitator system (301B), transaction data relating to the transaction, generating via the first service facilitator system a transaction identifier associated with the transaction, and transmitting the transaction identifier to the mobile device; transmitting wirelessly, via the mobile device, a transaction initialization request to an authentication system (301A), the transaction initialization request comprising the transaction identifier; transmitting, via the authentication system, the transaction identifier to the first service facilitator system; authenticating the mobile device via the authentication system and generating via the authentication system a transaction execution command causing the execution of the transaction.
