Zusammenfassung:It is suggested a method for simulating the behaviour of an inverter phase leg of a power control system in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), the inverter phase leg comprising a pair of semiconductor switching elements (SW1, SW2) connected in series between DC voltage rails of a DC power source and a pair of diodes (D1, D2) connected in series between the DC voltage rails of the DC power source wherein each of the diodes (D1, D2) is connected antiparallel with a respective semiconductor switching element (SW1, SW2), wherein a load is connected to the output of the phase leg, and wherein - each component of the inverter phase leg is represented by an individual model (350, 355; 360) - the models (350, 355) representing the semiconductor switching elements (SW1, SW2) are provided with an input DC voltage value (201) and a control signal (240, 230), - the model (360) representing the diodes (D1, D2) is provided with the outputs values (820, 830) of the models (350, 355) and an AC current value (210). In the method the switch-based models (350, 355) are used for the models representing the semiconductor switching elements (SW1, SW2) and a Pl controller based model (810) is used for representing the diodes (D1, D2). Also suggested is a system for implementing the method.
