Zusammenfassung: | A method of manufacturing a subsea foundation comprising simultaneously inserting one or more first helical piles 10A and one or more second helical piles 10B into the seabed 200. The piles are inserted via a common inserting apparatus 100, wherein a first helical pile has one or more clockwise helices 12B and wherein a second helical pile has one or more counter-clockwise 12A helices. The driving of the piles may be controlled to minimize a net torque on the common inserting apparatus. There may be a drive carriage 20A, 20B associated with each pile. There may be sensors associated with each of the drive carriages to control individually the rotational force provided by the drive carriages. Other claims relate to a drive carriage configured to move linearly along guides, a kit of parts comprising helical piles, a method of controlling simultaneous insertion of multiple helical piles. |
