Zusammenfassung:	There is provided a battery operated device in which a battery is provided in a battery compartment with a top surface which can be ruptured by flexing the base of the compartment, to enable removal of the battery from the battery compartment. In this way, a battery is provided in a blister pack type enclosure. This enables easy removal of the battery for suitable disposal.
