Zusammenfassung:	According an aspect, a system (100) for gas sensing and liquid level gauging for a tank (105) of a vessel is provided. The system comprises a conduit (103) having at least one opening (104) arranged in the tank and a liquid level gauging equipment (102) arranged to, when the system is in a liquid level gauging mode, fill the conduit with a gaseous media and determine a parameter indicating a pressure in the gaseous media in the conduit. The system further comrpises a gas sensing equipment (102) arranged to, when the system is in a gas sensing mode, obtain a gas sample from the tank via the conduit and to sense at least one predetermined gas in the gas sample.
