[Solution] This parthenocarpy regulation gene contains a polynucleotide that (1) encodes the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, (2) encodes an amino acid sequence having 75% or higher sequence identity with the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, (3) encodes an amino acid sequence obtained by substituting, etc., 1-98 amino acids in the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, or (4) hybridizes with a polynucleotide comprising a sequence complementary to a polynucleotide encoding the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 under stringent conditions.
