Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an illuminated glass panel (100) and to the manufacture thereof, said glass panel comprising: a first glass substrate (1), made of mineral glass, with a refractive index n1 of less than 1.6 at 550 nm, with first (11) and second main surfaces (12) and an edge surface (13), said first main surface having a first coating (5) in the form of a paint or enamel, an optical isolator comprising a layer of porous silica (2) with a thickness e2 of at least 300 nm, with a refractive index n2 of no more than 1.35 at 550 nm; a light source (4), preferably a set of light-emitting diodes, optically coupled with the first glass substrate, the first glass substrate guiding the light emitted by the light source; and light-extraction means (6) associated with the first glass substrate. It includes a protective coating (3), which is inorganic and transparent, directly above the layer of porous silica and directly under the first coating.
